We are Business & IT students at the University of Twente (NL) and colleages at Cofano Software Solutions with a passion for awesome stuff creation.
Our team name is inspired by a (Dutch) video-fragment ([view on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CU83bmwMiYU)). It's about an employee of a company calling the the pound-sign on your phone "Hekkie" (which sound the same as the English term "Hacky"). This caused some confusion with the interviewed man, since "Hekkie" also means fence which he doesn't have, because he lives in a tower block.

Jordyn and Mark have been coding together both on and off the job for over 6 years now. We initially joined the hackathon because of the opportunity to do something based on climate change.
However, when the topics were announced, we both felt drawn towards the privacy policy / terms of service topic. That is the topic we ended up choosing.
We plan to make a web application to this effect. We have a good idea of what we're building. API choices are pending

Being true hackers we have learned and used many tech and tools :) But most of them are Django, Python, JS, HTML5, Golang, ObjectiveC.
I am 26 and software developer and some monthes ago I found are there any online hackatons. And it was very surprisingly when I didn't find any.
But now I have got a mail from elance with explanation of koding.com hackaton and was very happy to know about it.
When I registered and was approved for participating I found that first theme (about global problems of the Earth) is very interesting for me.
I want to make something interesting, beatiful and of course useful . And I want to win not for the money but for the communication with interesting people.

I think that programming is general skill. But of course there must be the platform where a programmer realizes his ideas.And
nowadays I am focusing on web projects. I program on C# for ASP.NET /MVC/WebApi platforms, Javascript (jQuery and Angular.js mainly) for frontend. And I love alghoritms and especially I like machine learning and big data, and using for it Python (May be I will move to that language in future :) )
